Dear LazyWeb,
I could really use some personal finance software, but I’m really picky. I’d like a GPL-ish Web Application securely hosted on my home Debian server so I could access it from everywhere. It wouldn’t need a huge feature set.
I suppose I’m after a lightweight version of Quicken, except with the ability to work on my data wherever there’s a web browser.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Dave

One of my bosses asked me to change the batteries in his flashlight this morning.
No, that sentence doesn’t pack the right punch. Let’s try again.
Today, one of my bosses asked me to delay a time critical software release by the time it takes to walk (or take the bus) to Radio Shack, and purchase non standard batteries. I think I’ll shuffle the order on those two tasks.
This isn’t meant to be much of a story, but more of an unrelated prelude to this article describing the simian condition. Read. Enjoy.

I’ve lost my edge. I’m not a good troll.
When I’m playing games on servers with clan PikaFoop, half of the game is playing the game as it is presented to me. The other half is being obnoxious. Creatively obnoxious.
So, last Monday we were playing on a TF2 server, as the blue team. One of the red team was going by the callsign, “Barbie Horse Adventures”. So, after playing against him for a half hour, I changed my callsign to “Catherine the Great Horse Adventures”.
Nobody reacted, aside from my clan. I’ve lost my edge.
