Drive By

Last night, I was the victim of a drive by pooping.

I got home to find a car parked in front of my house, with the rear doors open.  The car’s driver was standing next to the car, trying to shoo a large wolf dog off of my lawn, and into the car.  The dog wasn’t cooperating, as it was busy taking an enormous crap on my lawn.  Shortly after I parked, he got the dog into his car, and drove off in a big hurry, without cleaning up after his dog.

There’s a back story here, and I’ve been thinking about the details.  Either:

• A complete stranger purposefully drove his dog to my house to have it crap on my lawn and not clean it up.  He then drove it home.
• The pair were driving through the neighborhood, and the man/dog rapport was such that the dog could clearly indicate to the man that he’d better pull over, so some business could be conducted.  I imagine that this is how Lassie rolls.
